CARE INSTRUCTIONS

A Little Reminder

Our bags are lovingly handmade, one piece at a time. That means each one is unique, just like you!

Because they're crafted with care, we kindly ask that you store and wear them with the same love they were made with. A little attention goes a long way in keeping your bag looking its best for years to come.

Thank you for supporting handmade!

General Care

-Keep away from sharp objects to avoid scratches or snags in the yarn.

-Store upright in a cool, dry place, preferably in a dust bag or pillowcase to protect it from dust and sunlight.

-Avoid overloading your bag to maintain its shape and structure.

-If your bag is in a light color, avoid wearing it directly against saturated clothing (like dark blue jeans) that may transfer color, especially when wet or new. Always test first on the yarn sample included in your package, by rubbing it against the fabric.

Cleaning

-Do not machine wash or submerge in water.

-Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the surface. Avoid excessive rubbing.

-For tougher spots, you can use a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of alcohol diluted with water. Gently dab the area without rubbing. Always test first on the yarn sample included in your package to ensure it doesn’t affect the color or texture.

-Pat dry with a clean towel and allow to air dry away from direct heat or sunlight.

Stains & Spills

-If a spill occurs, blot (don’t rub) the area immediately with a clean cloth.

-Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners as they can damage the yarn finish.

Long-Term Care

-If your bag gets misshapen, gently reshape it by hand and let it rest stuffed with clean paper or fabric for a few hours.

-For metal hardware (if applicable), gently polish with a soft, dry cloth.

-Avoid leaving your bag unused for long periods, especially in humid or unventilated spaces. Hardware can develop rust, tarnish, or discoloration over time if not properly cared for.

-We recommend taking your bag out occasionally, giving it some air, and wiping down the hardware with a soft, dry cloth to keep it looking fresh.
